To help make it easier to understand what benefits Whistler Blackcomb employees are eligible for, the various employee classifications are separated into Colour Groups. Each employee qualifies for a specific group of benefits. This section helps you determine which benefits you may be eligible for.

Coverage through SunLife is mandatory (except for Optional Life and AD&D) for eligible employees.  You may not opt out of Extend Health, Dental, Vision, Life, or Disability coverages, but you can choose to enroll in lower level options (i.e. Silver or Bronze) where applicable.

Service Hours (SVC Hours) are based on your hours worked and are used to determine eligiblity for some benefits, including the RSP, health benefits for seasonal employees, and your Vacation accrual rate.  Service Hours  are shown on your paycheque.

Review the employee classification below to see your eligibility details.

If you leave the Company and return within 12 months of separation, your seniority date and service hours remain unchanged. If you return after a 12 month break in service, your seniority date and service hours reset to those of a new hire.
